Multiple logins per account now available!

6/22/2009 in ClearCheckbook Updates
We just rolled out the ability for premium users to create additional users to access their accounts. This has been a highly requested feature and is ideal for a couple who has joint bank accounts.

When you create a new user to access your account and they add transactions, their username is appended to the description of the transactions they add so you can easily see who has added what transactions. The main users name will not show up next to all the other transactions to make things easier to read.

To set up additional users for your account, you must be a premium member and then go to Settings and click on the "Additional Users for this Account" link. You enter a new username and password on this page to set up the new user.

All additional users will have the same permissions as the main user. This means they can add/edit/delete transactions, reminders, notes, gadgets, etc.

Date formatting options available

6/17/2009 in ClearCheckbook Updates
You can now change how you want your dates displayed on the site from the Settings->Date Format and Timezone menu. You can choose from mm/dd/yyyy, dd/mm/yyyy and yyyy-mm-dd.

I'm not quite sure how this setting had been left out, as it had previously been available. Anyway, it's back up now and is working in both the standard and mobile site.

Export records based on category

6/15/2009 in ClearCheckbook Updates
We have added the ability for you to export your data based on category. You can now select between all accounts and specific accounts and all categories and specific categories. This will make it easier to export exactly the data you want.

New Premium Feature: Limits History

6/13/2009 in ClearCheckbook Updates
We are proud to announce the release of a highly requested feature: Limit Histories. Now you can view your past spending limits compared against what you actually spent. Unfortunately, all previous limits are based on the current limit, but from now on, the history will reflect the limit for that given month.

To view your limit history, go to the Limits page (Tools -> Spending Limits). Now there will be a navigation box that lets you click on "Limits History". This will take you to the graphs showing your history.

Minor Update: Importing custom fields

6/11/2009 in ClearCheckbook Updates
I wanted to let everyone know that we updated the Import tool for premium members slightly to allow them to import their custom fields (memo, payee and check #). These options now show up when you import a file.
