ClearCheckbook Android App v1.3.0 Published

1/10/2013 in ClearCheckbook Updates
We're glad to announce the release of an update to the Android app. This new version fixes and updates several issues that had been brought to our attention.

Here's what's updated in the latest version:
  • Fixed missing Jive button on Transaction Register
  • Got rid of calendar on transaction form
  • Added custom premium fields to transaction list (check #, memo, payee)
  • Improved UI throughout app
  • Updated Budgets section to work with newer durations

You can see some of the new screenshots here:

You should start seeing the update available on your devices shortly.

We're not done with the app yet. We're already starting work on the following for the next and future updates to the app:
  • Reminders / Recurring Transactions
  • Improved Reporting
  • Improved Tablet interface
  • Offline Mode

Comments for this post:

sorting
It sure would be nice to be able to sort and hide jived transactions to see just current non-jived transactions like you can with the website. To me, it lacks this feature and I will continue to use the mobile website until it is integrated.

kindle fire?
any chance of just linking to the .apk of the file so people with an amazon kindle can grab this app? (or put it up on the amazon appstore; whichever is easier.)

CCB in Offline Mode
Yes, offline entry would be great addition to the Android App. I note down the expenses as they occur on Evernote over my Android phone and then had to do a re-entry most of the time when I have access to the Web version on my Laptop.
