But I'm looking forward to the update. Was there any information such as screen shots or feature improvements? I admit to being an avid user just not one for looking at the blog. I'm excited and I hope that the new release will knock my socks off!!!

I'm hoping y'all are also planning on updating the app to be able to update while offline, like Facebook or Cozi Calendars. you can update while offline and it will sync with the website and others with the app (same account) once a connection is restored.

I have been using ClearCheckbook for a couple of months and am enjoying it. I have been testing it to see if it is a good fit for my life. So far I think that it is. I am excited to see what is in the new version. I have not read through the features list but I hope that comments for transactions becomes available. At any rate, I am about to take the leap and start a premium membership. I like what I see so far.

I have been using Clearcheckbook for about 5 years now. I use it on my computer, tablet and phone. It's a wonderfully useful and dependable app. Thank you very much for creating it. I'm looking forward to the update!

I'm great to look forward the upgrade version

I have been using Clear Checkbook for many years now. It takes me 5 minutes every morning to balance everything. The only program better than this was Quicken Online, which turned into the horrible Mint.com.

I think Clear Checkbook could charge $5.00 fee each month just to use the basic program.

I have checked new version sometime ago, but its not much improved and user friendly compare to current version, i wish to keep the old version

Have now used ClearCheckBook for 5 months and it is the perfect replacement for MS Money which I have used for probably 10 - 15 years. No way back now as CCB ticks all the boxes for what I want and where I want, like on my smart phone or tablet. I am sure that the new UI will be very intuitive and self - explaining. No good to talk about sticking with the old version, as the new V4 will evolve to what we users want over time. Keep going you lot, you are doing a great job.

Having tried a number of different cloud based accounts systems I migrated to Clear Checkbook over six months ago and soon took Premium membership, have been delighted with performance to date and trust the update will continue to provide and build on your excellence.
I actually run two accounts programmes for my finances one tethered to my desktop (Home Accounts 4) and Clear Checkbook which obviously has more flexibility when on the move. This arrangement covers internet down times and points up inconstancy and missed listings during reconciliation's.

I love the website and enjoy using it on a daily basis. I think the blue color would be easier to read if it was in bold print. Also with the new version will you be able to archive some of the older transactions?

Only been using it for about a month - since we took the Dave Ramsey course - and I think it is the best thing I've found. Fits much of Ramsey's concepts quite well. I love how you just enter a transaction and can update accounts and categories all at once. Am looking forward to the enhancements. Great job! Keep up the good work!

I'm worry about this update, I see a bug in transfer between accounts of different currency, this error is not happenning in the current version.

mchavarriae, we've fixed the bug with transfers and currency conversions.

I know a good thing when I see it. I reviewed your product for about a week before going Premium. Excellent product that leaves other similar applications in the dust. There is no silver bullet when it comes to online personal finance software, but ClearCheckbook is the closes there is to it. I've dropped all other programs and one-off solutions for ClearCheckbook.

I am interested in some App fixes, such as viewing a split as a single transaction (currently splits show up as multiple entries) and better budget views in the app. I'm also hopeful that some of the refresh and caching issues related to viewing the Register are fixed, and some enhancements that make Budgeting and Reports more useful are coming.

I've been using clear check book for 7 months. My husband and I needed a check book ap that we could both update from our phones without having to continually sync the data. I wanted up to the minute changes to be visible with the click of my refresh button and this has worked perfectly. I have also been spreading the word of your ap to others I encounter. Just Valentines weekend I bought train tickets at Grapevine Vintage Train and the teller was excited to hear about the ap, as her husband is a truck drive and makes purchases on the debit card all over the country and she said it's very hard to coordinate the check book balance. She said they could both use this ap on their phone and on her PC at home. She was going to download the ap to her phone that night. She even gave us a hug for suggesting it. I told her, I think this ap could very well save marriages! Less fighting over who will pay bills and how much is getting spent. With this ap and the charts, if you set up and use the category option correctly. Kudo's to the Developer for such an AWESOME ap. It's probably the best thing I've ever downloaded from the play store. It sure brought more peace of mind to my husband and I about avoiding unnecessary overdrafts. Especially if you write checks still, they won't show up as deducted from your available balance on your bank website until they actually hit the bank which could cause returned checks or over draft fees. Thanks again, love the program/Ap and hope the new version will be just as great if not better!!!

Love the package, and very happy with Premium service. I've tried many different programs, including MS Money, Quicken and various Android one, but CCB is the best by far.
Just one item on the wish list - Being able to use the program off line (whether on desktop PC or mobile device) and have it update with the cloud when back online.

i love the old version. only use to balance my check book. since i retired. and only need to track my spending to prevent overdrafts. looking forward to the updated version, to see what it has to offer. i think your program is great. keep up the good work..

Opened up CCB (new V4), with my default Browser Firefox 35.0.1 & Windows 7 and it doesn't show the Account Dashboard properly. Each Gadget is a full page wide and some not displaying properly. If I open it with Chrome Version 40.0.2214.115 then it works as it should.
