iOS 9 broke something in the framework we're using for the ClearCheckbook app. We tried updating it but apparently xCode/Apple deprecated a lot of stuff that our app's framework relied on and we can't simply issue a 'quick fix'. We'll need to actually rebuild the app which needs to be outsourced and will take some time to do. In the meantime, I'd recommend using the mobile optimized website from the browser on your phone. Simply go to clearcheckbook.com from your phone's browser and you'll have access to the full site, optimized for a smaller screen.
Thank you very much for posting this. I've been noticing some problems with the app since updating to iOS 9. I will do as you recommend and hope you get the app fixed asap.

Yes, thanks for the update. I thought I was going crazy! Do you have capability to send an email blast when you have it fixed, or should we just keep an eye on the blog? Mobile site works fine- just a little clunkier than the app, but will work until you get it fixed. Thanks!

Apple pay intergration
I was going to post this in another thread, but as you mentioned needing to outsource and rebuild the app, I would like to request apple pay integration, whereas, if I pay with apple pay (or android pay), it would auto log the transaction (or at leat prompt to) preventing having to login and add it manually.
ANyway, just a thought

Shortcut on iOS to Mobile optimized website
My workaround is to use Safari to go to www.clearcheckbook.com and create an "add to home screen" app. It creates an "app" that works like a bookmark in Safari browser. I like that it has auto complete for common entries.

Suggested Enhancement
Since you are rebuilding the app anyway - I would like to suggest that you add the autofill option, similar to what is available when you use a regular browser.
