When you add a new investment, you tell us when you purchased the investment, the number of shares, the cost per share and any commission. We'll track the Cost Basis and how much value the investment currently has to give you an overall idea of how you're doing with the investment.
If you decide to sell an entire investment or just some of the shares, you can do that as well. Just enter a new transaction with the number of shares you're selling and at what price and we'll adjust your portfolio as necessary.
The Investment Portfolio also has a gadget for the ClearCheckbook Dashboard so you can quickly see how your investments are doing. If you have the Net Worth gadget installed, your investments will be applied to your Net Worth as well.
