Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Amortization (EBITA) Report

You can generate an EBITA report for your personal or business finances.

These reports are provided for informational purposes only and are not intended to serve as official financial documentation. For tax filings, audits, or other official uses, please consult a certified accountant, tax professional, or financial advisor.
This report is only available for ClearCheckbook Premium members.

Where to find this report

Click on the Business tab and then click on the EBITA link.

What does this report tell me?

The EBITA Report generates an Earings before Interest, Taxes and Amortization report based on your transactions for the timeframe specified. Before using this report, you will need to associate your categories with their EBITA equivalents. To do this, click on the Category to EBITA section matching link above the Report Options.

Clicking on any of the category names will take you to a search results listing showing all transactions that are included in that calculation.

Report Options

The Report Options for the EBITA report let you set the start and end date as well as any depreciable assets you need the report to take into account.

If you enter any depreciable assets into the report, they will save and automatically load the next time you open the report. They will show up in the EBITA report under the Operating Expenses -> General and Administrative section.

Export to CSV File

You can click the Export to CSV link below the report to export the report to a CSV file. A CSV file can be opened in any spreadsheet application such as Excel.
